First…Happy Fathers Day dad’s!!

Finally a Nationwide race worth remembering. We have another prodigy on our hands… Joey Logano. ‘nough said!…. He will become a household name, but then so has Kyle Busch. The difference being..Logano is a likable kid.

Today’s race in my home state…Michigan!! Great state for sure. The race is rather on the boring side though… oh well. It’s still racin’ and the Winner will be…………….

In my weekly race preview last week I wasn’t too far off with my Brian Vickers prediction.
And two weeks before that I had the top 5 pretty much nailed, including Kasey Kahne.
It almost looks like I know what I’m talking about.
Personally, I consider it a form of beginners luck because I’m just starting out with this whole newspaper thing. I’m quite sure that I’ll miss the mark with my predictions and watch-for’s sooner or later. Until that happens though I’ll just keep on riding that wave.
As far as who I’m really pulling for at MIS this weekend, well, even though I didn’t really mention him in my article, I really want Dale Jr to get that 1st win monkey off of his back. But if Jr does not win then I would really like to see Travis Kvapil in the unsponsored Yates Racing Ford pull a victory out of his hat. I think it would be good for his team to get that win, more so than Dale Jr getting his first win for Hendrick that’s for sure.
