Former NASCAR Nationwide Series official Mauricia Grant is suing NASCAR for 250 million big ones.
Why?
Alleged racial and sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
I honestly don’t know what to make of this. A lot of the things she says happened actually sound possible.
Is she just another disgruntled former employee pulling out the racial and sexual discrimination card? Or, is there some validity to what she alleges?
Fortunately, that is not for me to decide. But even if half the stuff she says has some merit of truth in it then that doesn’t paint a pretty picture of NASCAR.
Don’t be surprised to see heads being lopped off if this lawsuit is somewhat successful. People will be sacrificed for the sake of the organization.
It would be interesting to see what other NASCAR officials have to say about this, especially females and non-Caucasians. I bet they are not answering any calls at the moment though.
