The Ride To Conquer Cancer

If you have been a long-time reader of this blog, you’ll know where I stand on Cancer. It is a vile non-discriminatory disease that has to be stopped. I even have put together my own proposal for raising money to help find a cure and you can read it here.

I bet you can not sit there and read this and honestly say you know no one who has been effect by cancer. My father, and his father, and his father before him all died of cancer. I shudder to think I might be added to that list one day.

A friend of mine, Bill Hutchinson, has also seen the effects of cancer on both his friends and loved ones and he is doing something to raise money to help find a cure. He just launched his site today so please visit it, and help out if you can. If you can’t pitch in, then just send him your best wishes and blessings for a safe and successful race.

Cheers to you and your friend Bill, for helping the fight against this wretched disease. I am a cancer survivor likely due to the research that goes on in Princess Margaret Hospital. I too am riding in this incredible event and hope to be able to meet so many people, like Bill, who are giving of themselves in such an unselfish way. I’m sure your blog will help his fundraising efforts immensely, as auto racing enthusiasts are the kind of people who love the looks and sounds of victory.
