rantingraving173.jpg I must have been out in left field on this one, but I totally missed the development, building, and selling of the 1969 Series 3 Camaro serial #3.

This Camaro is built by Richard Childress through his own shops and Total Performance Incorporated (TPI) of Wichita, KS.

rantingraving174.jpg This is the first of 50 Camaros like it to be built, but what makes this one special is that, along with it’s regular power plant, it was also sold with the engine that Dale Earnhardt had in his 2000 Daytona 500 race car.

The remaining 49 cars will also come with other SB2 RCR powerhouse race engines in addition to the RCR engine in the car.

The cars will be built through 2010, so order yours today!

rantingraving175.jpg This particular special serial #3 first edition Series 3 Camaro with additional Daytona 500 raced engine sold at Barrett-Jackson Auction in Arizona for $575,000.

For more info and tech specs please go to rcrseries3.com.

I wish I could afford one.
