Where do I start? I honestly don’t know. I guess I’ll just break down each topic in one or two paragraphs. Let’s start!

Earnhardt vs Kyle Busch:

Racing incident, nothing more! Kyle was a little defensive after, and understandably so, but it was interesting to see him try and stir the pot with his comments about Dale having to work with these people next year and how they won’t be impressed with him because of this, etc.

Hey Kyle, still a little bitter are we? Fortunately I can see that what you said was nothing more than your underdeveloped maturity showing its ugly head - again. Grow up!

If I were Rick Hendrick I would be glad to see Kyle go, but I would make sure to hire him back in about 5 - 10 yrs when he matures as a driver, because he will be absolutely killer out there. Kyle is a very good driver, potentially one of NASCAR’s future superstars, and will be once, or if, he matures. Look what Tony Stewart has done since he ‘matured’ (some might argue otherwise, but you’re wrong - you just love to hate Tony, that’s all).

Should NASCAR Have Re-Started the Race The Second Time?

YES! NASCAR has an obligation to get the show completed to it’s fullest extent, and if that means restarting the race after a 3hr rain delay then it must be done. As a sponsor I would expect nothing less, as a television network I would expect nothing less, as a driver sitting at the back of the pack with a good car I would expect nothing less, and as a paid ticket holder I would expect nothing less.

Tony Stewart’s Tire:

Bad call there. I would be fuming too. With the amount of smoke coming off of that tire you have to come in, even I know that. I happen to own one a tire that came off of Smoke’s car after a practice run of only 6 laps. You should see how thin that tire is, and to have something rubbing on it to that extent I’m surprised it didn’t pop earlier. If Tony doesn’t win the Cup this year and loses by anything less than 100 points then it is this race that cost him the Cup.

Who Should Have Really Won The Race:

Oh man, what a kettle of fish this is. Clint Bowyer, that’s who. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like “The Biff” - he has grown on me these last few years - but I still think the winner should be Clint.

Greg did not maintain the proper speed behind the pace car and was passed by those who did. In his post race interview he said the car would start and dared someone to start it, but the fact of the matter is, the car could not run on the track because of the slope on the banking. There was not enough fuel in the tank to reach the pick up on the right side of the car - that is why he went onto the apron, to get fuel to the pick up so he could start it again, and that is why anyone could have started in Victory Lane, the car was sitting on level ground.

Hey, What Is this? A Contest? Awesome!

Go here for all the details, and hurry up and enter, Thursday is fast approaching!
