Joe Gibbs Racing fortified its already formidable driver lineup Tuesday with the announcement that the team had signed Kyle Busch to a multi-year contract to drive the No. 18 NASCAR Nextel Cup entry, starting in 2008. Busch will replace J.J. Yeley, who has driven the car for the past two seasons.

Busch joins two-time series champion Tony Stewart and last year’s Raybestos Rookie of the Year, Denny Hamlin, who was third in points in 2007 and is second in points now. The trio will form one of, if not the strongest driver rosters in the series.
