If you have been following my blog for sometime now you will know that I really don’t have a favourite driver. The answer to the question, “Who is your favourite driver?” is easier answered as, “I don’t know, but I’ll tell you who I don’t like”.

Ever since Dale Earnhardt died I really haven’t settled on just one driver, and this is where my dilemma comes into play.

I’m going to the race at MIS in a few weeks and I don’t know who to cheer for while I’m there. This is where you come in - your task, should you choose to accept it, is to tell me who I should cheer for and why.

The driver of the person with the best answer will be the one I’ll cheer for at the race. Yes, I’ll even cheer for Jeffey Gordon if I must (hey Dude are you reading this?). I’ll even take pictures of myself cheering for that particular driver and post them here. I may even buy a t-shirt or something.

So what do you say? Are you gonna help me out, or am I just going to wear all of my ‘old’ Dale Earnhardt stuff all weekend?

As predicted Tony “No BS-ing” Stewart was fined today for his little ‘cow poo’ remark on Sunday. Also as predicted, he was found guilty as charged under the catch-all Section 12-4-A (Actions detrimental to Stock Car Racing …) of the NASCAR Rule Book.

He lost 25 Driver points, was fined $25,ooo and Joe Gibbs was also fined 25 Owner points. This is pretty consistent to what Dale Jr was fined after his ‘poo’ remark back at ‘Dega a few years ago. One exception though is that Tony is paying $15,000 more. I guess, as Jaynelle points out, “he got fined the extra $15,000 for the word ‘bull’”.

So much for those bonus points he wanted to get for winning races.

Rumor has it that Steve Wallace has hired young Warren as a bodyguard. The first thing Warren told him was to stay out the candy isle at convienent stores and to buy a cheap watch. This came after Steve suffered minor cuts and bruises in an attempted mugging after the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, the men jumped him as he left the store and tried to take a wrist watch. Maybe now that Steve has Warren as a sidekick he can stay out of trouble both off and on the track.

Gotta love Smoke and his on air “Bullshit”.

Pocono-no…. well that’s because I’ve been there and putting it kindly, that place sucks!! It’s better on TV.
